Day 4, Tuesday:

We wake up to a partly sunny morning, mostly cloudy and just a little cooler. Its still warm out so Im happy. Every day I would check the weather on the TV and it would forecast rain for the next day or every other day. So, to wake up to find they were wrong, I was happy! I was down at the beach before breakfast with beach gear in hand. I wasnt going to mess around this morning. I find us a spot in the front row and save it until were done with breakfast.

We eat at PA again and I think I found my favorite breakfast at this buffet. Im not much of a breakfast eater so I made a toast sandwich with ham, cheese, cilantro onions, tomatoes & mayo. I should have taken a pic of it as it was very good, with my grapefruit juice. ;-) OK, now for the beach! Im laying out under the mostly cloudy sky, waiting for the sun as it just kind of peeks through...front row and all, Im pretty content. Then we notice that there are some darker looking clouds off in the distance. Are they coming this way? We keep an eye on them and still wonder...there are no locals in site to watch. After a while, I start packing up and Dave asks if its going to rain. Just then, it started...not just a sprinkle either. Everyones running for the large beach palapa. We have no idea how long it will last so we head up to our room. Once there, it stops. We wait a while to see if its really done before heading out. We head back to the beach to find that the front row is taken, bummer! I still find a 2nd row spot and were fine.

Lunch is at the Rotisserie Chicken place on Hildago. We love this place! Every trip, we eat here at least once. 1/2 a chicken/pollo with all the fixings for 60 pesos! We bring our own Sols. We usually meet a dog or cat here too.

Just so you know, Dave was done with his food and his fork ;)

Later for supper, we cabbed (40p) to the Soggy Peso tonight. We werent sure of the special but, we had fun chatting with the people and staff at this place. Weve been here before and they still tried the spider trick on me, I was waiting for it, lol. After many Sols we share some shrimp tacos and a side of guac, delicious!! We were going to leave but, its starts pouring and thundering out. Oh well, time for another cervesa right? We met a guy who stays on the island for long periods of time, his name escapes me, but he called his cabby to get picked up and he asked if we would like a lift, nice guy.

PS...I did take a video of the Soggy Peso, but it was too dark. :(

We think we better skip margaritas at Miguels tonight and we hit the hay. be continued.
