Lotsa people come here in the summers to escape the heat of Texas, the southwest, Florida...and from all over Mexico. The evening temps drop here and don"t there. Our temps are double digit usually (not triple)....plus it is nice to have hot weather when you are in beach/coastal mode.
Where & when on Isla are factors. Like Texas...we avoid physical stuff in the middle of the day. Early morns are very nice...evenings are balmy. The east coast has more breezes...the west coast & mid isle can be very skeetery. I don"t think the skeeters are bad downtown...but having a breezy spot to sit is worth considering. Things are slower for many restaurants...esp in the evening when the Mx daytrippers leave...so there is room to sit outside and stay cool. It is rainy season, so though it mostly rains at night, or can rain briefly and be nice the rest of the day...We do get tropical depressions that can leave us without "tanning weather" for a few days at a time. Lotsa good deals in the summer...on rooms, food, drinks. |
