At La Cazuela M & J you will always enjoy a fresh breeze and a spectacular view of the Caribbean. With two patios overlooking the sea and a charming, intimate dinning room, our restaurant is located off the main square of "downtown" Isla Mujeres, behind the church, next to the Hotel Roca Mar.
We open at 7AM and close at 2PM. Each morning you will be greeted by Pedro with a pot of fresh coffee in one hand and the menu in the other. Try our fresh tropical fruit plate served with yogurt, granola and a large glass of Chaya juice, guaranteed to cure any case of "too much fun"!
The specialty of the House "La Cazuela" was created by chef/owner Marco Fraga. Somewhere between an Omelet and a Soufflé, Cazuelas are prepared and served in a traditional Mexican ceramic dish by the same name. A variety of delicious and innovative combinations using many ingredients regional to the area. If you have a combination you would like us to prepare for you… just ask!
Our menu has something for everyone. The crepes, omelets, traditional Mexican and North American breakfasts are all prepared with the same care and originality our restaurant is famous for.
Our lunch menu features 100% purified salads, grilled chicken with homemade BBQ sauce and the best hamburgers on Isla Mujeres. Of course, the Cazuelas, Crepes and Omelets are available at any time.
La Cazuela M & J also features fresh, natural fruit and vegetable juices served in a jumbo glass. Be sure to try our famous "Chaya Cure". Our freshly brewed bottomless cup of coffee is made with the finest Mexican coffee.
